Minneapolis
commercial photographer
About
Tom Foley Photography
Being
a Minneapolis commercial photographer can be very
rewarding due to the rich tapestry of people, products
and the premier investment opportunities surrounding
the Twin Cities. Not only is this city a driving force
in theatre and the arts, but also it manages to build
and sustain strong small businesses side by side with
significant global corporations.
Many opportunities present themselves within this
cultural and economic environment? One day, I may
shoot an emerging band’s CD cover, giving the
band the strong image they need to forge forward in
the competitive music industry. The next day, I may
shoot a concert violinist.
Only
a Minneapolis commercial photographer, born and bred
in the twin cities, will have the special feel for
First Avenue to the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, needed
to give these different types of musicians the special
pop needed for this market.
Similarly,
I may also have the opportunity to shoot a new medical
device, designed by a Minnesota company, and ready
to resonate across the globe; or a new menu item for
a restaurant; or I may photographically illustrate
a book of children’s stories. I enjoy all of
these types of projects in Minneapolis.
With
each, I bring an understanding of the person, object
or product being photographed, combined with a keen
eye to detail and over 30 years of experience that
find the most time and cost effective method to take
strong images and thus bring the “product”
to market faster. Perhaps most importantly, however,
as an independent, I bring genuine enthusiasm to each
project, the sort often missing from those employed
by a large agency where the push is simply to complete
the project as quickly and simply as possible. I spend
the time necessary from the beginning with my clients
to bring each person, product or investment opportunity
to life. I bring the touch of an artist to every image
I make.
